| after a couple years, ive finally decided to close my xanga site. 
xanga has treated me well, but its time to find a place where i can
post some pictures... for free... (i need to save what
little money i have for yarn. haha)

| hehe, in honor of my new camera (thank you mommy! i love the camera!!!)... i made a little camera
sock! and it turned out so much better than i expected!

| alrighty, so now that med school applications (phew. go
anteaters!) are done, ive decided to dedicate my xanga to my newest
hobby--knitting. 
some projects that i'm currently working on are:
the rainbow sweater (http://www.elann.com/ShowFreePattern.asp?Id=27024)
the manical poncho (http://mindofwinter.prettyposies.com/archives/000118.html)
the little rainbow sweater has been the cause of much anguist this past
week. ive already started this sweater and torn it out 2
times. ive decided that the pattern i have for the sweater has
some significant typos, so its time to wing it! (hehe, well see
how that goes. it may just end up being a set of rainbow coasters
instead.)
as for the poncho, i can't wait to get started on this one. i
just ordered the yarn on ebay. for the longest time, i couldnt
bring myself to shell out the $81 for the yarn. (ugg, that number
still seems way too high for me.) BUT, i justified this
uncharacteristic splurg by reminding myself that i only spent $20 on
books this quarter. so, i guess my book money has become my yarn
money!

oh well. thats all for now. and yes, i know... hehe, im turing into an old lady!
